| This beautiful sampler is the ideal design to celebrate a couple’s life together, as the two ribbons weave and intertwine to give an intricate, heart-based Celtic knot. The design is worked in full cross stitches and, for those who wish to, the spaces between the knotwork can be filled with blackwork motifs. Four colours are used for the cross stitch, with one extra colour needed for the blackwork. The design can be personalised for a couple who have “tied the knot”— either as a wedding sampler, or as a special anniversary sampler. An alphabet for personalisation is included, along with backstitch numerals to add the dates.
