| In a sunlit forest glade, the angelic troubadour stops to rest and play. Drawn by the sweet melodies, an enchanted unicorn comes to listen . . . This sampler can be worked in any threads, but it gives an opportunity to experiment with different textures. The model was stitched on 32 count white Belfast linen, using one strand of the chosen threads. The border was worked in beautiful matt linen threads from Olde Willow Stitchery. The golden angel and unicorn were given a magical sheen by using pure silk threads from Hand Dyed Fibers. For those who prefer to work the sampler using only one type of thread, a full conversion is given for both brands, as well as for DMC. If you prefer to work the sampler in monochrome, thread quantities required are given below the key. |
