The Balcony - stitched by Marie-Yvonne G from Semur-en-Auxois, France on 28 count Parma linen, using DMC 814 for the writing, 890 and 367 for the balcony, 814 and367 for the flowers, and another pale pink thread, number unknown. She used gold Mill Hill beads for the puntuation.

A lovely little cushion based on Tiny Little Quaker- stitched by Florence H. from the Ardeche in France on Aida using recuperated DMC thread.

Winter Wood stitched by Pascale M. from Apremont in the Vendée, France with a DMC red metallic sewing thread ( art 278 ) 4015, that she thinks is not made any more. For the others she has used Madeira metallic threads, colours 28 for the brown and 2558 for the green.

She has also used a silver thread, but isn't sure whether it is DMC or Madeira. The blue thread is a spangled Anchor thread, colour 320 and the beads are from Cousine and Company in colours ivory and red.
