Around the World in 80 Stitches

The SAL has now come to its end but is still available. This SAL is exclusively for people on our mailing list and is a sampler in 24 parts. Each month it featured three or four speciality stitches which share their names with countries, areas or cities from around the world. There is also a version of the design which is suitable for Aida cloth and has only full cross stitches, back stitch and one or two very simple speciality stitches. This version does not, of course truly follow the "around the world" theme, but will be a very pretty design nonetheless.

Two wonderful prize winning version of “Around the World in 80 Stitches” the first of which stitched by Judy S. from Vadnais Heights which won 2 prizes at the Minnesota State Fair in St Paul in 2016 and the second stitched by Beth F. from Gray which won first prize at the Appalachian fair in Gray Tennessee in 2023.

Another Winning Model

Here is another award winning model. This one is the Castle Garden and again was stiched by Beth F. from Gray, Tennessee, and it won Best in Show award at the Appalachian fair in Gray, Tennessee in the summer of 2023.

Although this SAL finished some years ago we have recently received numerous requests to reinstate it which we have now done.
